What to Know About batch

  • CRLF line endings are used so Windows cmd.exe reads the file correctly.
  • Only include @echo off once - at the top of the first file.
  • An exit command in the middle stops the rest of the merged script.
  • The merge is local and no script is uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do line endings matter for BAT files?

Windows batch files use CRLF. LF-only files can still run but may behave oddly with labels and gotos.

The script stops early after merging - why?

A file probably ends or contains an exit or goto :eof. Remove those lines from the parts before merging.

Is my script uploaded?

No, the merge is done in your browser.
